I have upgraded Vista to Windows 7, and all I can say "It just works", but seeing the promos on tv it shows a lot of things that Win7 can do that I am unable to find a way to implement them, Why? Is it something that is only on the most expensive Win7's or is my computer not good enough?

Mike Southern seems upset that Vista 64-bit has issues with some of his earlier programs. How is it possible for someone to complain about this sort of issue with Vista when they say they have been using compters for 14 years? Mike, the reality is that "new" and "old" are different! Microsoft has had compatibility test programs for several versions of Windows so you can look for such issues before you install and make an informed decision. It sounds like you didn't bother to try that route. I still use XP Pro because one of my prime programs simply will not work in Vista or Windows 7 (it was originally written for Windows 95) but I can still see the value in what the newer operating systems offer for most people. As to the Mac side of things, I support Mac users for a large printer manufacturer and I can tell you that Apple's commercials, entertaining as they might be, are meant to sway people from Windows to Macs (surprise!) and are largely a collection of half-truths. OS X v10.6 (Snow Leopard) has kept us very busy explaining why people can no longer scan images using the software that they have been using from the past and that they will now be using "Apple Image Capture", like it or not. That's the nature of computing with any OS. You have to take responsibility for what choices you make and live with the results.

I am not a computer-works person. I don't understand "how" it works, just that it does. I got my first system in 1995. I have moved up to Vista, 64-bit. I will have to say that I have regretted that move from the day it started working. You have ruined Excel. I have lost some of the programs I had previously purchased because they are not compatible with Vista 64 bit. I would much rather have XP back but you are getting rid of that. Please find the ones that gave the "Great!" reports on Vista and fire them. They are really agents for Mac.. Thanks for your time. Now get back to work.

"SCCM Administrator" - SCCM is NOT the official Microsoft abbreviation for the product "ConfigMgr" is. Why does Microsoft insist on shooting itself in the foot over this?

Not a bad video by the way, be good to have the timeline running somewhere so I can see how much longer of the video I have left to watch.

PS - Seeing their food is making me hungry ;-)

It sounds like Windows 7 is giving end users and IT professionals alike a good reason to upgrade. Great video!

Excellent video.  I think this does a good job of representing a large portion of the Windows business user community and their thoughts on the desktop OS.  I second what Justin says about the PR rep potential.
