Sounds like your still on the Windows 7 Beta. The beta will shut down every two hours. I suggestion either moving to the 90 day Enterprise trial or waiting till 10/22 and purchasing a full version of Windows 7/

If Windows 7 is anything like Windows XP, you may as well throw it out with baby water - it will slow your machine down to a snails pace, with the first service pack you have to install. And continue to slow down with each and every other pack.
